I’ve noticed that my full beam light works and is shown on the dashboard. However, my dipped headlight icon does not show up and doesn’t seem to be working. Please help! Has anyone got any ideas what this might be or what I could do?

Thanks :)

Usual first point to check is all fuses - if both bulbs have stopped working dipped only, but work main beam, suggest one of the headlight fuses has gone, as I wouldn't expect both bulbs to go at the same time.

Good fuse listing (Posted on here somewhere a while back, but I saved the link separately): https://fuse-box.info/citroen/citroen-c ... FZobU9KN2o

If your poster info is right with a 2009 C1, would be engine fusebox, fuses 2 and 6 to check (i'd guess one would cover full beam and one would cover dipped).

Jus checked the circuit diagrams, fuse 2 is for the RH headlamp (both main & dipped) and fuse 6 for the LH headlamp (both main & dipped).

Since mains work but dipped don't, I don't think this is a fuse problem.

OP - does the warning light appear in the instruments when you try to turn on the dipped beam? If it does then the headlamp switch is OK.

My C1 did something similar, the only thing that ever went wrong with it in 100000 miles.

I lost the headlights on dip, the main beam was ok. The dip indicator lamp in the instrument panel went too. It was the headlight switch in my case, and I replaced the whole stalk with one from eBay.

If you’ve lost just the indicator in the instrument panel but the lights are still working, you may have a fault in the dash, as (from memory) both dipped beam bulbs and the dash indicator are driven from the same circuit.
